Ybor City Museum Society
The Tampa Baseball Museum is owned and operated by the Ybor City Museum Society, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the unique cultural heritage of Ybor City, while honoring Tampa's historic role in the game of baseball. Established in 1982, the Society diligently works to preserve Ybor City's heritage and the history of baseball through tours of the Tampa Baseball Museum, special events, and the Rollin' Through History Mobile Museum. ​
​​​​As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization , the Society depends on support from its grants, corporate sponsors, donors, special events and members to help fund its programming and activities.

As of January 1, 2026, the Ybor City Museum Society, Inc. took over the Ybor City "Walk of Fame" program from the Ybor City Development Corporation, Inc. Pavers are only available on 7th Avenue from Nick Nuccio to 26th Street and on the northside of 9th Avenue between 18th Street and 19th Street (Ybor Museum block). Pavers are not available in front of the Columbia Restaurant and the Italian Club.
